Protecting your brand
May 3, 2026Names, logos, recipes, packaging, and why trade marks matter before a brand gets copied.
A strong Filipino brand can grow quickly through markets, Facebook groups, and word of mouth. Before growth, check whether your name or logo is already being used.
Keep original logo files, menu drafts, label designs, and first-use evidence. If you plan to franchise, wholesale, sell nationwide, or launch packaged products, trade mark checks become more important.
Do not assume a company name, domain, or social handle is enough. Treat brand protection as part of the launch checklist, not something to fix after a conflict.
